CLWB CELF – PARTICIPANT DISCLAIMER AND LIABILITY WAIVER

 

By attending and participating in any event organised by Clwb Celf (including but not limited to “Sip and Paint” sessions and lino print workshops), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Assumption of Risk
I acknowledge that activities offered by Clwb Celf may involve the use of art materials and tools, including but not limited to acrylic paints, paintbrushes, lino blocks, and sharp cutting tools. I understand that such materials and tools may present inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Personal injury (e.g. cuts, abrasions, or other harm), particularly during lino printing activities involving sharp tools.

• Damage to or staining of clothing or personal belongings due to paints or other materials.

 

2. Responsibility for Personal Safety
I agree to exercise reasonable care while participating in all activities. In particular:

• I will use all tools and materials in a safe and responsible manner.

• When using sharp tools for lino cutting, I will cut away from my body and follow all safety guidance provided.

• I will follow any instructions or safety advice given by Clwb Celf organisers.

 

3. Personal Property
I understand that acrylic paint and other materials may permanently stain clothing and personal items. I accept full responsibility for any damage to my belongings and agree that Clwb Celf is not liable for such damage.

4. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree that Clwb Celf, its organisers, staff, and volunteers shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained by me while participating in activities, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

 

5. Health and Wellbeing
I confirm that I am physically and medically fit to participate in the activities. I will inform organisers of any relevant conditions or concerns that may affect my safe participation.

By signing below, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to this disclaimer and liability waiver in full.
